Do you think the Federal Government should improve black spot intersections along the Reid Highway by building traffic bridges?

In light of the many accidents on Reid Highway intersections and the amount of fuel tax the Federal government takes from Western Australians, do you think government ought to finish building the Reid Highway by building traffic overpasses so that high speed accidents will stop killing Perth drivers? I believe each traffic bridge costs about $10M. Saving of lives, medical expenses, brakes, fuel, productivity are also worth consideration.

Most of the deadly intersection of the Reid Highway are in the marginal seat of Stirling. It will be interesting to see if any bridge building promises surface in the coming Federal elections and in what time frame for completion.

See www.perthmap.info for location of Reid Highway intersections.
