Holiday Accommodation Perth

Familiarisation tours of holiday http://www.accommodationperth.info CBD was what we did on the weekend. Some Perthites take holiday accommodation by Perth beaches but since we are from a small luxury hotel by the beach we wanted to become familiar with hotels in Perth to recommend them to our www.scarboroughbeachfront.com guests wanting a break in the Perth CBD. We stayed in Perth's Mounts Bay Apartments, very close to Mounts Street where I walked to from Subiaco primary school when I was 6yo. I remember my friend's father was manager at the Swan Brewery in Perth. The first super balls invented were used to bung kegs but for us they were high bouncing balls.

On the way to take photos of Perth's City to Surf Fun Run, we stopped under the Mitchell Freeway on Mounts Bay Road where my 10yo took this photo after I threw autumn leaves in the air.

The Perth City to Surf Fun Run crowd on a fine sunny winter's day was MASSIVE. Nearly 30,000 people ran by as I took http://www.perthperth.com/photosperth.htm of fun runners.

After dropping Joan off for shopping at Harbour Town at the location where the Perth fruit and vegetable markets used to be, I took my son Jon to worthwhile SciTech after being convinced by their effective marketing of Science. Having been a science teacher for most of my career I was happy that my son was already taking a keen interest in science after seeing entertaining ways SciTech demonstrated science. Many of the science exhibits reminded me of the science experiments I got my students to investigate although for example on Aitutaki one of my student's hot air balloons almost set the top of a tall dry coconut tree on fire smile.gif

I wanted to see the WestCoast Eagles vs Fremantle Dockers west coast derby but like many fans was disappointed tickets were sold out. Because there were too many things to do in Perth we also missed out on seeing the Perth Cultural Centre free entry open day. Oh well hope fully we'll see it next year.
