Joyce Parkes, Darlington

My mother, Joyce Parkes, was laid to rest near her Darlington friend Margaret Button on the south side of the Guildford Cemetary.
Joyce was a leading Perth businesswoman and a widely published poet. Google "joyce parkes" poems and you'll see. She was inspired to read Yeats by Margaret Button's sister, Pippa O'Brien who lives in Darlington. That started Joyce in her decades-long passion for poetry.
