Subiaco Redevelopment Authority Members

Subiaco Redevelopment Authority in Perth. has 3 new board members. Planning Minister John Day appointed Subiaco councillors Loren White and Stan Lauder and planner Mike Day of Roberts Day. Leaving the Subiaco Redevelopment Authority board are Subiaco councillors Lynley Hewett and Andrew McTaggart.

Current Deputy Chairperson Don Humphreys has been confirmed as Chairperson and architect Sharni Howe also remains on the board. Mr Day said the two new councillors had been nominated by the City of Subiaco and both were Subi Centro residents. “The Subiaco Redevelopment Area is 86 per cent complete and has been an outstanding success. I thank the retiring board members Councillor Hewett and Councillor McTaggart in their role in guiding the Subi Centro project to this stage,” he said. “This new board now has the responsibility of taking Subi Centro forward and completing the vision of creating a sustainable urban community which brings together people, economic opportunities, high quality architecture and sustainable living.” Councillor Stan Lauder, a Subiaco Councillor since 2003, has served on various committees and has extensive business management and governance experience. Councillor Loren White, a councillor for 17 years, was involved in the strategic planning of the city’s long-term financial growth and Town Planning Scheme No. 4. His planning and policy background will be an asset to the board. Mike Day is a planner and has previously served on the SRA board. He has extensive experience in urban planning, property development and business management.

Mr Humphreys has been on the Subiaco Redevelopment Authority board as Deputy Chairperson since 2006. He has a broad range of expertise in corporate governance, strategic planning and financial, business and property management. Mr Humphreys is a Subi Centro resident and has previously served on the City of Subiaco council.
