Business Development Manager for Successful Boutique Design Studio

Design Studio with a great reputation, portfolio bursting with creativity & glowing testimonials to get you in the door and making your easy OTE sales

Full time permanent position + $60K base + generous OTE of approx $60K uncapped + super + car and mobile allowance + work from home or office.

You'll be an integral part of our successful Perth based full service studio, that specialises in everything design, print and web for a broad range of great clients throughout Australia for over 13 years.
Why? Because we are so busy doing exceptional work for our existing clients, that we don't have time to promote our talented team of designers and services to new clients!

You will be representing a studio that you can have full confidence in, with a great reputation, an impressive portfolio bursting with examples of our creativity, glowing client testimonials, high achieving creatives and a broad range of creative marketing tools to get you in the door and close the deal.

We're looking for a professional with a high level of experience in client dynamics that promote the rapid building of relationships and selling of creativity that will take our business to new heights.

Having a strong focus on customer service, being conversant in marketing and technology trends and being comfortable with consulting and selling to all levels of business professionals will be well rewarded as will your ability to quickly become an expert on client's business issues, industry and organisational challenges.

A proven track record of working independently, strong hunting skills when it comes to the pursuit of sales leads and prospective clients and a passion for closing the deal in the area we dominate - mining/resources/oil & gas or the private/tertiary education sector. As well as extensive negotiation experience and successful sales record of surpassing targets and budgets for a Design Studio or similar business in WA.

As will your ability to execute smart sales strategies for growth including successfully plan, develop and be responsible for implementing of an overall strategic plan. This will include the implementation of a database, the delivery of dynamic, strategic and effective presentations, proposals and tender submissions to generate $500K of new business ie 10 x $50K clients, in consultation with the Managing Director.
