Consumer complaints are common. Consumer protection laws are supposed to protect consumers but ultimately it boils down to if you got ripped off for small amount it's not worth your time or money to pursue justice so buyer beware.

On the other side of the coin there are always malcontents and fraudulent claimants. One of my favourite sayings is only those who do things make mistakes. Those who do nothing are usually the complainants. I think it is another thing when money is concerned.
